I tried the Kijibae Self Gel Kit at home on a quiet evening, honestly not expecting salon-level results—but I was pleasantly surprised. The kit came neatly packaged with everything clearly labeled, which immediately made the process feel less intimidating, especially since I’m not a professional. The instructions were straightforward, and I loved that I could take my time without the pressure of a salon appointment.

Curing each layer was quick, and the finish came out glossy and clean, like I’d just stepped out of a nail studio. I also appreciated that the gel felt lightweight and comfortable.

After a few days of wear, the nails still looked fresh with no chipping, which is usually where at-home kits lose me. Doing my nails with Kijibae felt less like a chore and more like a little self-care ritual.

It’s honestly empowering to get results like this at home, on my own schedule, and I can see this becoming part of my regular routine.

I had a great time applying the gels and lovvvved the design soooo much . It lasted pretty perfectly for the first week ( and I am rough on my hands as an art teacher). One week in and I have a couple chips but thankfully overall they look good and I can just replace the chipped nail with others in the set.

I’ve tried many brands of semicured nail wraps — haehae, dashing diva, oauee, ohora, etc — haehae has generally been my favorite but I think this might be my new favorite. I like the thin/light quality of the material, which makes it less likely to get caught on things as my nails start to grow out. Also, a lot of variety of sizes, moreso than some of the other brands. My one quip is that the base is a little square at the nail bed, where I think it could be a little more rounded, but overall, will definitely continue to purchase because the quality is stellar. Picture is after some grow out already.

this is my 4th set of kijibae nail strips and i think ive finally got the application process down perfect. i use them kind of as gel x nails with a layer of clear builder gel over top so they’re durable and have enough thickness to actually work as extensions. these have been on about a week and they still look absolutely perfect, the longest ive ever had a set last was just over a month.

As a guy who has always wanted to do his nails but has always been intimidated by the process, these nails have given me such a confidence boost! I always get compliments and i feel so prepared to do my nails and do them right <3 for ever customer here!
